This is a story on my fav restaurant in Manchester..
“can I have one half chicken with rice please?”
“sure. Eat here or take out?”
“eat here please”
“anything else?”
“nothing else, thank you” or “mint tea please”
“ok, have a seat please”
“alright, thank you”
Then, in 5-15minutes….
“miss, yours’ ready!”
WARNING: you only get half of the chicken but that whole lot of rice, really!
Alright, this is just like a restaurant review. It’s just that I’m not a real ‘reviewer’ (is there such a word?) like the ones you get on paper or magazines.
Ok, first of all, you guys need to know that this restaurant DON’T only sell ‘half chicken with rice’. hehehe. It surely sell loads of other foods( chicken al-faham, qabily pilau, shish kebab, chicken kebab, to name a few). It’s just that this menu has been my favourite since I was in my first year and I’m going to fourth year next year. How time flies..
The taste is like WOW! I could not describe it any better. It’s nice, seriously I do not know how else to describe it. It’s totally wow and addictive. God I was thinking whether they “put one of those ‘socks’ ” that our fellow Malaysians used to label those restaurants that have good reputations. Just thinking about this makes me drool…
Mind you, most of Malaysians who came to this restaurant like the foods. People from Germany, Russia, Egypt, India and fellow UKians (from Aberdeen down to Southampton) will definitely ‘singgah’ here if they come to Manchester. And I even have a friend who ’mengidam’ to eat this whist pregnant.
You might think I’m exaggerating, but try once yourself. But still, different people have different taste but still I would “hiiiiighly” recommend this restaurant if anyone would ever came to Manchester.
Worried that you might not know where to locate this good restaurant? Not a problem at all. Just contact one of us (you might just do this through the website) and we’ll help out insyaAllah. Still, if you wanted to ‘tomtom’ the place, it’s at 22 Wilmslow Road Rusholme, Manchester M14 5TQ (0161 257 3337).
“Over tak, sampai pastekan the picture of the kedai makan?” But, the picture is not so inviting sbb tak guna SLR la ni. Hehehe..
This jazera is situated along rusholme/curry mile Manchester.
I think that’s enough for now. Usually, people akan pekena ‘faluda’ kat moonlight just opposite jazera. You’ll know when you get there.
So, WELLCOMEE TO MANCHESSTERR!!
**It’s opened everyday starting from 11am everyday (though I’m not sure for the Sundays).
